Marine Stadium Named to World Monuments Fund 2010 Watch List
The Marine Stadium has been named to the World Monuments Fund 2010 Watch List along with other sites such as Macchu Picchu and the Center Cities of Buenos Aires and Old Jerusalem.

The Shindig
April 18, 2008 Shindig For the Marine Stadium
Our first public event was a "Shindig" at the Miami Rowing Club to Benefit the Stadium. he event was a joint event with Team Row and was organized by Julio Viyella. Attendees took tours of the Stadium by Chinese Dragon Boat and Hilario Candela, architect of the Stadium made a presentation.

The event was a sell out-and a smashing success!

Docomomo is an international organization which promotes the study, interpretation and protection of architecture, urban design and landscape architecture of the modern movement. Docomomo has chapters or working groups in 54 countries and is highly regarded in the architecture and design community.
