Marine Stadium Named to World Monuments Fund 2010 Watch List
The Marine Stadium has been named to the World Monuments Fund 2010 Watch List along with other sites such as Macchu Picchu and the Center Cities of Buenos Aires and Old Jerusalem.

Staff Report on Historic Designation
The City of Miami reviewed our proposal to nominate the Marine Stadium for landmark status. As you can see, the staff of the Historic Environmental and Preservation Board gave the proposal a very postiive review.

1993 Engineering Study of Marine Stadium
This report on the Stadium was done by the Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company in 1993 after Hurricane Andrew. The report showed that the Stadium could have been repaired for a cost estimated between $2-3 milion and the Stadium was not damaged during Hurricane Andrew (page 40). Unfortunately, the City did not act on the results of this study.
